• Reminder that all characters must have a backstory that meshes with our lore and explains how you ended up in Korolgrad. We are introducing a minimum word requirement of 150 words in the backstory. "WIP" in lieu of a backstory is not acceptable (set your characters to private if they are WIP!)

My name is Ridwan Wickens. I was born on August 22nd, 2015 in Hurley Medical Center in  Flint, Michigan.  I was only an adolescent at the time of the war, but I still have memories oh how it played out in Flint, Michigan. The wars cyber attacks cut off Flint's communication with the outside. Everyone was quick to ban together or leave town. Morale was high and even a couple #FlintStrong banners hung in the city.  This general attitude of the city lasted until the first contact between Flint and the infected. People of flint were quick to rationalize the source of the infection to be in the city's water supply due to history with the contamination in the city's water.  A majority of citizens boarded themselves up in their homes  and ditched the #Flintstrong movement.  The remaining stood with the Mayor of Flint, who formed a group dedicated to saving the City and its mayor from National embarrassment once again due to possible water contamination.  This only lasted so long before the NCC showed up to Flint.  Everyone was sure that Flint was doomed to be the headlines of the National News stations again but they were wrong in that assumption. The CSS started gather people up and forcing them into caravans for transport. They separated me from my parents and grouped me with all of the other younger boys. I ended up going to a Bastion in Upstate New York for the next 8 years were I grew into a man before they once again transferred to a bastion in Germany.  Now I am arriving in Korolgrad once again after being transferred. The life of bastions is all I really know in life.
